NOTICE!
Check Help / About Tourney Tracker for the Product Version installed on your PC.
If the version is 10.3.0, there is no reason to re-install the software.
So, if you used the product last year or have already installed the trial
version, there is no reason to re-install. If your version is not 10.3.0,
you can click here to jump down to instructions
on downloading and re-installing the latest software package.
Vista, Windows 7, 8, and 10 users!
There are a few of Tourney Tracker features that always do not operate
properly with the Vista and Windows 7, 8, and 10 operating systems -- and possibly
more with your particular system setup.
-
The Help documentation
does not automatically work unless you download the patch from
Microsoft. You can go to support.microsoft.com and search for
"WinHlp32.exe" to get the download.
- Instead of loading the Help patch, you can
full Help documentation that comes with the product. The
download is in Adobe Acrobat format and approximately 770 KB.
- Also, when you try to automatically log into the Entry-Net from the
Tourney Tracker™ PC-based tool, you may get Error #75 and the
process will not occur. You can get around this by using the
Pool Manager Logon link on the left. Log in with your 13-digit
registration ID.
To assure that the system works properly, be sure to do the
following after installing on your PC:
- right-click Start
- click Explore
- find your C: drive and click
- find Program Files and click
- find Tourney Tracker and click
- find TourneyTracker (.exe) and right-click
- choose Properties
- click the Compatibility tab
- check the "Run in Compatibility Mode for" and choose Windows XP
Service Pack 2
- in the Privilege Level section, check the "Run this program as an
administrator" box
- click OK
This should set the security on your computer such that the automated
Tourney Tracker™ functions will work properly and that calculations are
accurate.
Also, some people have reported problems with printing (black boxes in some
areas, for example, or no print at all). Try the above bulleted steps
to see if that helps. If not, then print will need to done to a file
(either HTML, comma-delimited for import into a spreadsheet, or text file)
and then printed separately.
Windows 8 and 10 additionally may not allow the Tourney Tracker program
running on your PC to open up the web browser and log you onto our site with
your pool manager ID. This function is used in the Tools / Setup and
Maintain Pool Info on Entry-Net function, as well as a option to go to the
Entry-Net after you have uploaded reports, using the Reports / Print, Save,
or Publish Reports option.
Instead, you can log onto the Entry-Net manually by going to
www.tourney-tracker.com,
choosing the Pool Manager Logon option on the left, and continuing on until
it asks you for your 13-digit registration ID. Key that number in and
you will be taken to your pool manager page where you can manage your pools.

Tourney Tracker™ Problems and
Solutions |
How to Fix Tourney Tracker Software
Problems
Your options for resolving these issues will depend on your "Registration ID
Version". You can tell your Registration ID version by going to Help /
About Tourney Tracker™. Be sure to look for your "Registration ID Version"
or "Reg. Version".
Your
Registration ID year must match the current year in order to use the Entry-Net
web-based features.
Click here to renew to the current year for $9.95. With this renewal,
you get a new ID and new download link for the latest version of the software.
Holders of Registration ID Version 2008.1 or higher (purchased after April 1,
2007) can re-download and get the latest version of Tourney Tracker™ for your PC free.
Click here to go to the re-download
page for instructions. You will still need to renew your license each year
if you wish to use the Entry-Net web features.
Holders of 2024.1 and earlier registration ID's
can use the links below to re-download. You will need to click below to download the
appropriate previous
version of the software that matches your Registration ID year. You will need your 13-digit registration ID from your original
purchase for the new software to work. Remember, though, using an older version of the software will
not allow you to use the Entry-Net web entry or report posting functions.

Release
Information
The information below indicates the known problems for
each of the published versions of Tourney Tracker™ this year. In
most cases, problems with one version are also problems with any earlier
version. See the instructions above for information on your options
to solve these problems.
Tourney Tracker™ 10.3 (the current release)
- See issues above for issues with
Windows 10 and related operating systems.
Tourney Tracker™ 10.1 and 10.2
- See issues above for issues with
Windows 10 and related operating systems.
- Registration ID's for 2021+ will not work with these versions.
Download and install the 10.3 version to solve the issue.
Tourney Tracker™ 2008.1.2
- No known problems.
Tourney Tracker™ 2008.1.1
- Check marks appear on grayed out reports in the Print, Save,
Publish window. You can go ahead and print or publish the reports.
You will get a warning message, but it should not stop you from printing
or posting your reports. To get rid of them, try closing
everything out and coming in again. If that does not work, try opening
up the repots that you want to send to the Entry-Net, then open up the
Report / Print, Publish, Save option.
- The "standard list" functionality for reports is not working properly.
- When sending a large number of bracket print files to the Entry-Net,
you may encounter error #380 or something similar. You can click
through the error messages and the upload will still work.
Tourney Tracker™ 2007.1.1
When using the print, publish, save reports function, the "standard
list" selection is changed to the current selected reports without
specifically requesting that to happen.
Also, on that same window, a checkmark can appear in a select box that
is disabled, causing an error when the reports are requested to be
printed.
When importing entries from another file, the name of the participant
does not always show up correctly on reports unless the file is saved
and re-opened first.
Sort on the Participants Listing window sometimes sorts on a column
other than the selected column.
Tourney Tracker™ 2006.1.5
No known problems.
Tourney Tracker™ 2006.1.4
When attempting to create a file of the Current Standings by
Possible Points report, the check box for the report is not recognized
and the file will not be produced. Upgrade to the latest version
to solve the problem.
Tourney Tracker™ 2006.1.3
Spreadsheet entries are dropping the "Texas" picks when
imported. You can upgrade to the latest version to solve the
problem, or go into Edit / Bracket Setup and take the space off of the
end of "Texas", save, and then import your spreadsheet entries.
You can then add the space back in the same way.
Tourney Tracker™ 2006.1.1 & 2
An error may occur when opening a file that was saved from another
registered owner of Tourney Tracker.
Tourney Tracker™ 2006.1.0
An error may occur when trying to open the Print, Save, or Publish
window. Opening a report, then trying to open the window can
bypass the problem.
If you have forgotten your ID, you
can look it up by opening the software and choosing the "Help / About Tourney Tracker™" menu item. Your registration ID is the 13-digit number shown at
the bottom of the window. If your product installation was damaged and you
do not know your ID number, you may request that we re-send it to you. To
so so, please
click here. Please send us as much information as you can about
your purchase, such as the name used for the purchase, the date of the purchase,
the e-mail address submitted with the purchase, etc.
